Two parking facilities for Cape Town International Airport for over 5000 cars.

Groenewald Preller Architects were the Lead Architects and Principal Agent in a Joint Venture appointment with MMA Architects for a five storey parking garage facility for 1900 cars. The first parkade was completed in 2006.

Parkade 2 was commissioned by ACSA for completion in 2010 in time for the World Cup. This 5 storey parkade was to accommodate 2100 cars. Groenewald Preller was again appointed as Lead Architects and Principal Agent in Joint Venture appointment with MMA Architects. The two parkades were completed at a cost of approximately R500m.

The unique feature of these parkades are the linear ramps which make entrance and exit very efficient and easy to use.
