This was an extensive renovation of a mid-century dwelling to accommodate the needs of a modern family.

Stylistically it moved toward a more robust structure with a contemporary Cape material palette. The interior layout was opened up and enlarged with strong visual experiences of the garden. The main living area was designed to flow freely onto the covered patio and garden. At night fires are lit in the internal hearth and the entire house settles into a friendly, open and down-to-earth atmosphere.
